Up for sale is a stunning, heavily constructed pair of true 1970s vintage Italian mountaineering boots. Built by legendary Italian bootmakers for Fabiano\'s premium \"The Alps\" line, these boots feature gorgeous maroon/oxblood premium leather uppers that are built to last a lifetime.
Premium Vintage Features:
* Accordion/Bellows Tongue: Fully gusseted to completely seal out water, trail debris, and snow.
* Internal Velcro System: Features an interior adhesive hook-and-loop strip on the tongue to keep it perfectly locked in place and prevent shifting while hiking.
* Robust Hardware: Equipped with steel D-rings and quick-lace speed hooks.
* Norwegian/Stitched Welt: The double-welted construction means these can be completely resoled by a cobbler if needed.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with beautiful natural character. The leather is thick and sturdy with light cosmetic scuffing at the toe box. The original Vibram lug soles are intact with massive tread remaining. The interior leather lining is clean and the stamps are perfectly legible. Laces included.
