Vintage Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. two-blade pocket knife, measuring approximately 2 7/8 inches closed. Tang is clearly stamped Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. / Little Valley, N.Y.Features black handle scales, metal bolsters and two blades. The secondary blade is additionally marked 22766.Mechanically excellent — both blades have strong snap, solid action and no noticeable blade wobble. Blades show significant honest wear from age, use and previous sharpening, along with patina, staining, scratches and surface oxidation. Despite the wear, both blades retain usable profiles.Handles appear solid with normal age-related wear. Bolsters and hardware have developed an aged patina.A nice genuine old Cattaraugus Little Valley knife with lots of character and desirable early American cutlery markings.
