Substantial nautical display piece featuring a double-sided brass telegraph head with traditional engine commands including Full, Half, Slow, Dead Slow, Stop, Standby Engine and Finish With Engine for Ahead and Astern.
Both dial faces are marked “Chadburns Liverpool & London.” Features dual brass operating handles and a heavy tapered brass pedestal with mounting flange.
Measures approximately 20\" tall with a base approximately 6\" in diameter. Very heavy and substantially constructed.
The hollow pedestal retains electrical wiring, including cut wiring visible from the underside. Electrical components have not been tested. Handles/mechanical components move, but the piece has not been tested for full functionality.
Good vintage condition overall with age-related patina, tarnish, scratches, marks and general surface wear. It has not been polished or restored. Please examine all photos closely for exact condition, construction and measurements. Due to size, sold as is and no returns.
