Two vintage (1986) southwestern-inspired folk art (Native American style) framed art tiles by artist Cleo Teissedre (1930-2020; non-native Arizona watercolorist and ceramic designer.) Both art pieces are white-body, low fire earthenware ceramic tiles handpainted using liquid underglazes and topped with clear, glossy protective glaze before firing in a hot kiln (sealing the glass finish.) Both pieces framed in solid oak (please note that one frame’s light honey stain is a bit darker than the other.) Both pieces have top & side keyhole slot (keyhole hangers) drilled on back of frames; both top and vertically. Gold foil artist’s seals attached on back (one is curling.) See photos for details. Both pieces are in excellent vintage conditions, ready to hang and enjoy!
