Vintage EK Commando Knife Co. M5 Bowie, handmade in the USA in Richmond, Virginia, complete with its green EK nylon sheath.
This is an impressive EK M-series fixed-blade knife featuring the distinctive EK Commando commemorative blade emblem with crossed knives, 1941 / COMMANDO markings and references to World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
The M5 Bowie features a substantial full-tang blade, black Micarta handle scales with EK\'s milled “Handprint” grip pattern, three distinctive brass fasteners, brass double guard, extended tang with lanyard hole, and green cord lanyard.
The original military-style green nylon sheath is included and retains its sewn EK label marked:

Condition
Excellent vintage condition. This knife appears to have seen little to no actual use and presents more like a display or lightly handled example.
The blade appears to retain its original edge and shows light surface marks, scratches and spotting consistent with age, storage and handling. The Micarta handle, brass fittings and sheath show minor age-related/storage wear.
We cannot guarantee that the knife has never been used.
The knife has not been cleaned, polished, sharpened or restored by us.
