Vintage \"Empeco\" Metal Breadbox / Hinged Front Lid / Cream & Green / 1950s For Sale

You are purchasing the metal breadbox measuring 13\" long x 11.25\" wide x 7\" tall. 1940s-50s. Manufactured by the \"National Can Company - New York.\" Brand is Empeco which was known for their floral kitchenware.This breadbox features a hinged front door with a beige/cream colored background, covered in a green leaf and dot design with green trim on the door front along with a green metal turn latch. The exterior on top shows patina and some paint loss which is consistent with age. This could easily be covered with a beautiful doily, a lightweight cutting board or build a two sided with top wood frame to cover the box. The inside is clean and very nice.
