Vintage Evangeline Pottery “Red Flame” Coordinated 8-Piece Set – Canada

This is one of those vintage sets that makes a statement the moment you see it. The dramatic fiery glaze combines deep burgundy red, orange, amber and dark brown/black tones for a wonderful Mid-Century Modern look.

The coordinated set includes:

• 1 tall lidded decanter

• 1 large handled lidded serving vessel

• 6 matching pedestal goblets

• 8 functional pieces total; both original matching lids are included

The pottery is identified as Evangeline Pottery of Canada and features the Red Flame glaze. The undersides carry impressed pottery marks, including the triangular mark and Canada marking; one photographed piece is marked 102/7-8.

The rich reactive/drip-style glaze varies naturally from piece to piece, giving the set wonderful depth and character. Raised geometric decoration around the larger vessels adds even more texture.

A striking display for a Mid-Century Modern, retro, Canadian art pottery or vintage barware collection.

Condition

Vintage pre-owned condition with age-appropriate signs of use. Please examine all photographs carefully, including close-ups of the pottery marks and glaze, as the photos are part of the description.

Please note: Due to the age of this set, I would sell it primarily as collectible/display pottery rather than make claims regarding modern food-safety standards.
