Hand forged in the 1960’s, this mighty behemoth weighs in at 470gms(1.04lbs). The 14.5” carbon steel blade has never been used. Engraved in blade is the Ern axe-in-block logo and GUSTAV EMIL ERN over SOLINGEN GERMANY. Original logo sticker is still on handle . Slight chip in handle may have been a flaw in production but in no way affects strength and beauty of this fabulous collectible. Overall length is 20”.
This is the pride and joy of my knife collection, and it will sadden me to part with it.
