Vintage Limoges Miniature Porcelain Plate Brass Stand Hand Painted Gold Floral For Sale

Beautiful vintage Limoges miniature porcelain decorative plate featuring an elaborate hand-painted floral design against a rich gold-tone ground.The tiny plate is decorated with stylized peach and pink roses surrounded by cream-colored scalloped motifs, cobalt blue outlining, small dotted accents, and extensive gilding. Despite its extremely small size, the decoration is remarkably detailed.The reverse is hand marked “Limoges” in red script. No additional factory or artist name is visible, so the specific Limoges manufacturer is unknown.The plate remains fitted in its original-style gold-tone brass wire holder, with three small clips securing the porcelain. The holder allows the miniature to be displayed upright and appears consistent with other vintage Limoges miniature display plates. Similar examples were produced as small decorative collectibles and are also well suited to dollhouse or miniature displays. The plate appears to measure approximately 1½ inches in diameter based on the quarter shown for scale; please refer to the photographs for size.Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. No obvious chips or cracks are visible in the photographs. There may be minor age-related wear to the gilding and painted decoration, along with some patina or discoloration to the brass holder.
