Baby, if clothes could talk…
This was my best pal’s jacket. She looked so cute in it. Had I not loved her so much I could’ve hated her. She went a-wandering in this old world and left me the jacket to hold on to, and hold on to it I have, for 50-some years.
Great unlined barkcloth jacket in lovingly worn condition. No holes, though, no tears or smells. One button. Bold pattern but not loud. In fact, tastefully muted. And just look at those pouchy pockets…what insouciance. Size tag says 9, but no manufacturer’s identification found. Probably bought at a head shop…remember them?
18” from collar to bottom hem.
15” +/- from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
17” +/- from underarm to underarm.
16” +/- sleeve length.
