Up for sale is a rare, authentic Mid-Century Modern Swedish embroidery kit from Nordiska Handarbeten / NIAB (Nordiska Industri AB), made in Gothenburg, Sweden.

This beautiful kit features the famous texturized abstract ship design titled "Armada" (Bonad 7223), created by the highly collectible Swedish textile artist Birgitta Salenius.

Kit Details & Specifications:

• Finished Dimensions: Approximately 48 x 51 cm (19" x 20")

• Linen Size (Klippmått): 60 x 65 cm

• Materials Included: Original deep navy blue linen fabric background base, full set of vibrant multicolor linen embroidery floss skeins (shades of deep blue, teal, magenta, emerald green, and olive), 2 hanging rings, and original printed instructions/guide sheet.

• Stitches Used: Stem stitch (Stjälksöm), Flat stitch (Plattsöm), Chain stitch (Kedjesöm), Couching/laid work (Läggsöm), and French knots (Knutar).

Condition Note:

The kit is completely unused, clean, and in excellent vintage shape. The embroidery floss skeins remain beautifully bundled, unworked, and bright. The original plastic storage packaging shows mild storage wear and old sticker residue, but has kept the inside components perfectly pristine and odor-free.
