Vintage Chinese Peking theatrical/opera costume and accessory collection featuring an elaborate red and gold floral robe along with an ornate turquoise, gold and red headdress/headpiece and numerous decorative accessories.
The robe features a vivid red ground with gold floral designs, contrasting gold trim, black decorative borders and traditional-style detailing.
The collection also includes an elaborate decorated headpiece with turquoise and gold scrollwork, orange pom-poms, faux pearl ornaments, fringe and other applied decoration. Also included are assorted tassels, embroidered textile pieces, decorative ornaments, hair/accessory pieces and other items shown in the photographs.
