Description
This vintage Peterson pipe is stamped Peterson’s “Donegal” Rocky, Made in the Republic of Ireland, with shape number 6.
The shape 6 is a classic straight Billiard with a substantial briar bowl and traditional proportions. The bowl features Peterson’s deep Donegal Rocky rusticated finish with attractive dark brown and reddish-brown coloration throughout.
A particularly desirable feature is the original silver shank band, stamped with K&P shield marks and STERLING SILVER. The pipe is fitted with a traditional black vulcanite P-Lip stem, identifiable by the distinctive Peterson-style upper smoke opening at the button.
The pipe remains in authentic unrestored estate condition and retains strong vintage character.
