The lid features a highly detailed, deeply embossed Portuguese Coat of Arms at the center, surrounded by radial filigree panels and four smaller heraldic shields. The cylindrical base features intricately woven wire mesh walls and rests securely on three ornate, shell-shaped decorative feet.
