Offered is this vintage 1970s Pyrex tab handled 6 piece casserole set. The pattern is Snowflake Blue and consists of the following:473–B ~ 1 Qt with Clear lid 473-C; 474-B ~ 1-1/2 Qt with clear lid 474-C; 475-B ~ 2-1/2 Qt with clear lid 475-C. Pattern is a lovely abstract, geometrical snowflake design ~ MCM.
By way of background, this set belonged to the mother of a friend of mine. When unpacked, found Bridal Shower card from the 1970s in the box ~ too sweet! Even when individuals are no longer around, traces of their life remain. And the set of Snowflake Blue straight sided bowls I have also listed at this time coincidedly belonged to the mother of a different friend.
474 has chip on edge of one tab handle, 475 lid has scratch ~ any other signs of age, use, wear minimal ~ do not note any utensil marks inside bottoms, pattern and colors bright with no damage.
