Stunning full-length vintage fur coat by R.M. Taylor Co. Furs (Quakertown – Allentown, PA). The coat is made from rich natural raccoon fur, featuring a blend of warm brown and gray tones with thick, soft underfur and long, glossy guard hairs.
The piece has a double-breasted front with large button and loop closures (commonly referred to as a furrier-style button closure) and a beautifully detailed dark brown satin lining with subtle woven patterns.
Overall, it’s in great vintage condition — the fur remains soft, full, and luxurious. There is a small opening in the underarm seam that will need a simple hand-stitch repair (see photo).
