This necklace was sold to me as blue topaz but I believe the seller was in error. Natural blue topaz does not react to UV. There are only 4 natural stones that react from blue to crimson read and those are blue spinel, blue fluorite, blue kyanite and blue diamonds. Under the loop these are not diamonds. But I am confident these are treated clear topaz which will react to UV (truly a great piece for the CLUB SCENE)The markers mark is a simple M (possibly Movado) on the claspThe base metal is stamped .925 on clasp. The length of this radius choker is roughly 16 inches. Research shows very few examples but exact matches are credited to 1920-1930’s. Please review all photos and ask questions if you have any.
