Vintage S.T.37 Antiseptic Solution bottle made from richly colored cobalt-blue glass. The large bottle appears to be the 32-ounce size and retains its original ribbed screw cap and much of its original paper label.
The label identifies the Consumer Division of Calgon Corporation, a subsidiary of Merck & Co., Inc., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is an appealing vintage medical, pharmacy, apothecary and advertising collectible with excellent decorative color.
The glass bottle shows expected age-related surface wear, dust, residue, scratches and storage marks. The original paper label is heavily worn and fragile, with tears, missing areas, fraying, discoloration, creases and staining. The ribbed cap has age-related discoloration and surface wear.
The bottle has not been restored, and the label has intentionally not been cleaned or wetted. Please review all photographs carefully for the complete condition.
