Very unusual vintage TRIC PICK™ electric guitar pick, still sealed in its original presentation packaging.
The TRIC PICK was an innovative guitar pick featuring a built-in electronic light. The original packaging identifies Charles “Chuck” Carpenter as the inventor and describes it as “The World\'s First Electric Guitar Pick!” The package also states “Patent Pending.”
EARLY PROMOTIONAL EXAMPLE
Based on research into TRIC PICK examples and the different packaging used, this particular black-and-white carded package appears to be an early promotional/trade-show example, rather than the later retail-style packaging.
I have not found another example with this exact packaging, making this an especially interesting piece for collectors of vintage guitar accessories, music memorabilia, and early music technology.
The TRIC PICK remains sealed in the original blister packaging.

Vintage / sealed, untested.
The original packaging shows some age and storage wear, but the blister remains intact and the pick has not been removed.
The electronic function has not been tested. The original battery should be considered untested due to its age, and the package has not been opened.

This vintage TRIC PICK came from my late father\'s personal music collection/estate. He was a lifelong musician and music educator who collected guitars, musical instruments, accessories, and unusual music-related items.
A very uncommon piece of vintage guitar and music-technology history, and a great addition to a collection of vintage guitar memorabilia or unusual music collectibles.
