Vintage Texaco branded display piece featuring the classic red star logo and “Top Performance 19-Gasoline-59” engraved on the base. This appears to be a mid-century dealer recognition or sales award, likely presented to a service station for performance in 1959.
Constructed from heavy cast metal with a bronze-tone finish, the piece has a substantial weight and stands upright, making it suitable for desk display, shelf décor, or collectible petroliana.
The top badge shows wear and age, with some surface oxidation partially obscuring what appears to be an engraved or written name (ending in “...rock” is faintly visible). The base engraving remains legible. Overall patina and wear are consistent with age and use.
