Stunning vintage fur coat made in Finland by Turkistukku, expressly for Saga. This is a dramatic full-length coat with a glossy dark mink body and plush fox trim at the collar and hem. The fur has beautiful depth, movement, and sheen, with a very striking luxury look when worn.
This coat has been carefully restored and refreshed. It has been cleaned, steamed, conditioned, and aired out. It originally came from a cold-storage furrier with a faint mothball/storage scent. After cleaning and airing in a cedar closet, the scent is now barely noticeable, and I expect it to continue dissipating before shipment. Disclosing for transparency, especially for scent-sensitive buyers.
Condition is very good wearable vintage condition. The fur is soft, supple, glossy, and presents beautifully. There are three very small seam areas under 1” each that have been reinforced for stability. These are minor, secure, and not obvious when worn.
The fox trim has some mild plum/purple oxidation beneath the guard hairs. It is mostly hidden under the surface and difficult to see unless looking closely in certain light.
Interior lining is clean and presentable with original labels intact. A beautiful, high-impact vintage fur with excellent drama, shine, and structure.
