Vintage U.S. Forest Service Government Survey Corner & Monument warning sign featuring the classic USFS shield logo.
The sign warns against destroying, defacing, changing or removing Government Survey Corners or Monuments and states a penalty of $250 or six months imprisonment, or both. References Section 1858, Title 18 U.S. Code.
Condition: Vintage used condition with scratches, scuffs, discoloration, bends/dents and general weathering. Sign has multiple holes, including larger holes through the face/lettering, from previous mounting/use. Please see photos closely for the exact location and condition of all holes.
