AboutMy Grandmother,Frances JosephsenTrusdellcame over to the US from Germany in 1914. She Lived in the East working 7 days a week to pay to bring the rest of our family over from Germany.
Later fast foreword to the 1950\'s She moved to Camp Lagoon on Camano Island in Washington State where her Son had discovered and bought a Farm on the Island. Northern Washingtons Beauty is close to our family\'s Norway & Germany landscapes and Weather Heritage, and she fell in love with the Beautiful Green Washington State.
There in her beautiful home on Camano Island over looking the Puget Sound, she had a small Art Studio she named \"TheCamano Art Center & Gallery\"where she created her art, painted and began Teaching. Her Passion and incredible Talent was painting Mountains Landscapes & Seascapes but did other subjects as well.
Soon some of herpaintings were in Art showings sold & shown all over the state and beyond. Her ambitions and ever growing number of Art students driving in from all over, outgrew her home Art Studio space on Camano Island, She searched, found and purchased the Historic Hagstrom Thompson Housein Stanwood Washington,,Built by Sven A. Thompson in 1905Stanwood is close, next toCamano Island. Thereshe lived, painted and taught her Art classes, with students driving in from all over the state Some driving2 hours or longer from Seattle and beyond. She was a wonderful Artist, Teacher, and Grandmother💗
