A Piece of Mid-Century Americana
This beautiful dinnerware dates back to the post-WWIl suburban boom of the late 1940s to 1950s. Distributed by the American Retailers Guild, these sets were manufactured by historic Ohio River Valley pottery houses and sold as affordable luxury through regional department stores.
A true hallmark of the era, the ornate filigree rim features warranted 24-karat gold stamping, designed to elevate the dining experience for families celebrating the return of peacetime gatherings. With its classic ivory base and delicate central pastel floral motit, this set pertectly captures the graceful, romantic "hostess charm" of mid-century American tableware.
