This listing is for the2022 Scorpion Releasing Blu-ray release of Walk Proud (1979), the Los Angeles street-gang drama directed by Robert L. Collins and starring Robby Benson, Sarah Holcomb, Henry Darrow, Pepe Serna, and Trinidad Silva. Benson plays Emilio Mendez, a young gang member caught between loyalty to the Aztecas and his growing determination to escape street violence.

Producer Lawrence Turman and Evan Hunter researched Los Angeles Chicano gangs through interviews with law enforcement, social workers, and Mexican-American youths, but the project spent more than a year in limbo after studios became reluctant to finance a gang film.The film marked Collins\' feature-film directorial debut and was written by novelist and screenwriter Evan Hunter.

Benson also contributed to the soundtrack, composing and performing the closing song \"Adios, Yesterday.\" This Scorpion edition features a2K master, new interviews with cast members Pepe Serna, Panchito Gómez, Irene DeBari, and Luis Reyes, plus the theatrical trailer. This copy is factory sealed.
