This is not a modern print. This impression is more than 135 years old. The strike is crisp and the lines are sharp.This master etching also has Amand Durand's stamp on the reverse which can be referenced by Lugt. 2934. Most of the original Durand prints from the 1800's do not have the Lugt stamp on the reverse which makes this a rarity.

Achaotic and intense battle between horsemen. It is often associated with the cavalry battles of the Eighty Years' War, a long-standing conflict between the Dutch Republic and the Spanish Empire.
