FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A M1892 US ARMY HOLSTER
Obtained at an estate sale is a very nice condition US Model 1892 Holster made byRock Island Arsenal. The leather holster is in very nice condition for being over one hundred years oldand remains very supple. There is very little verdigris on the brass fittings indicating that theholster was well taken care of and stored properly.
The holster has a unit mark of \"11 D\" on the enclosure flap and the US emblem is still clearlymarked on the body of the holster. On the reverse side, the manufacturer\'s mark is still clearlyvisible and it reads, ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1908.
