This group represents several important periods of Japanese and Pacific wartime monetary history, including Imperial Japanese currency, Japanese occupation money and Allied Military Currency used following Japan’s surrender.
All four notes are circulated and ungraded. They exhibit varying degrees of age and circulation wear, including folds, creases, discoloration, surface soiling and edge wear. The 1 Yen note has noticeable edge damage. No cleaning, pressing or restoration has been attempted.
