An unusual and highly decorative Wedgwood creamware piece featuring an elegant cream-colored body with raised floral and scrolling foliate decoration. The elaborate openwork rim is accented with gilt detailing, while the two sculptural arched handles are richly finished in gold.
The combination of pierced decoration, molded floral motifs, and bold gilt handles gives this piece a particularly ornate appearance. The interior has a warm ochre/golden glaze that contrasts beautifully with the cream exterior.
