Description:It is perfectly happy inside or on the porch/patio, so long as it receives some sun. Most people plant it outdoors. This species is one of the easiest flowers to grow. It is hot and cold hardy. It can tolerate drought, flooding, shade, and direct sunlight. This beautiful plant offers cheerful fruit and flowers, and it is one of the few that can take direct afternoon sun here in the steamy sun belt. It is great for \"low maintenance\" areas! A+ plant! Butterflies, especially the pretty baby-blue ones, can not resist visiting the engaging blooms. The taste of the strawberries is mildly sweet. It tastes like watermelon. They are lovely raw, in fruit salads, and in smoothies. I love putting the strawberries with water in ice cube trays to make pretty ice cubes! Apart from being edible, beautiful, and care-free, the plant has other advantages: people with a backyard flock will find that chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail, and pheasants will fight each other for strawberry snacks!

Planting Instructions:After the last frost, plant the strawberry in soil that you have loosened/worked. A handful of prepared/commercial garden soil/compost is appreciated. The top of the roots should be underground. Water the strawberry regularly until it starts putting on new growth.
