The detailed Appalachian scene depicts Manton Cornett seated on a porch reading, with natural light coming from behind him. Originally created in 1989, this is one of Gayheart’s recognized works and later inspired the title of his A Turn Toward the Light musical project.
Framed and matted. Overall framed size is approximately 25” x 23”. No glass.
