Winchester Punch Marked Firing Pin USGI M1 Garand Original, Mint See Description For Sale

Original Winchester punch marked firing pins. These are USGI new and unused from WWII.

Please see in my photographs a reference from Larry Babcock’s outstanding book “M1 Garand Photo Essay” a picture and caption showing the punch mark on a Winchester firing pin.

Also note in the respected book “The M1 Garand 1936 to 1957” by Joe Poyer and Craig Riesch, that “Winchester firing pins can only be distinguished by their slightly rougher machining and the Rockwell Hardness punch mark.” They also note that “Winchester firing pins were either unfinished or blued”.

These pins are all unfinished, clearly punch marked and covered in cosmoline.

I have cleaned a few to make the punch visible.

They are absolutely genuine.
