The most common wear area is the bumper guard which sees damage from contact with the court. Another reason for grommet replacement is worn or cracked grommets. A split grommet hole can cause a string break best case scenario and worse case a cracked racquet. Grommet cracks most often occur on the outside mains where the angle is extreme. Keep an eye on your grommets and bumper guard and if in doubt just consult with your local stringer to see if it's time for new grommets in your Yonex racquet. No returns on grommet sets unless we made an error.
If you're not sure which grommet set to order then please message us and we'll make sure the grommet set actually fits your racquet. We might ask you to upload your racquet images so we can positively ID and match to the correct grommet set. We understand there is nothing more frustrating than buying grommets that don't fit your racquet. One out of ten orders is buyer error so be careful and just reach out if you need help.
