🌱 HOW TO GROW ZINNIAS
Direct sow outdoors after the last frost when soil has warmed to about 70°F. Plant seeds ¼ inch deep in well-drained soil and space plants 8–12 inches apart in full sun.
Water regularly while plants establish. Once established, zinnias tolerate heat and short dry periods well.
To encourage bushier plants and more flowers, cut blooms frequently or deadhead spent flowers. Harvesting flowers encourages plants to branch and produce more blooms throughout the season.
For earlier blooms, seeds may be started indoors 4–6 weeks before the last frost.
