Very pretty table cloth made from a medium weight cotton fabric that measures 50 x 51 almost square. The colors are lovely cornflower blue, red, lime green and white. 4 different corner graphics, one is a pretty Senorita struming the guitar with wrought iron gate in the background, one corner has a great bull and bullfighter scene, one corner has a pretty Senorita vendor at the street market selling Talavera Pottery and pots, and one corner has a gondola boat with his load being carried on the river. Such a fun old vintage tablecloth in very good condition, does show in the photos a small spot stain in the center white space. The serape ribbon design graphics that run around each corner and joins with a flowered medallion is some of the best graphics from that era that I have seen. Its just well done.
Lovely collectible tablecloth from the 1940s and 1950s, the days of these great graphics or family life and life as it was in Old Mexico.
Thank you for taking time to look at my collection. I am trying to go thru it and downsize most of it. I have a cedar trunk that was nearly full of these Vintage Mexican Spanish Southwestern tablecloths, towels, scarves, aprons and more. I am trying to at least list one each day. I cant take it with me and my age is definitely catching up with me. I have loved and collected for over 40 years. I never used any of them, just loved buying them and keeping and enjoying looking at them,but now its time to unload and give the new keepers of these pretty linens to the new generation of collectors.
