1928-C $1 Silver Certificate Fr 1603 KEY G-B Block Low Serial G00014833B For Sale

1928-C $1 Silver Certificate – Fr. 1603 – Key Series – G-B Block – Low Serial #14,833

Offered is a scarce Series 1928-C $1 Silver Certificate, Friedberg Fr. 1603, featuring the classic early small-size “Funny Back” reverse design.

This example has several desirable characteristics that set it apart from a typical circulated $1 Silver Certificate:

• Scarce 1928-C Series / Fr. 1603
• Collectible G-B Block
• Very Low Serial Number: G00014833B
• Serial number is just 14,833, with four leading zeros
• Classic Funny Back reverse
• Blue Treasury seal
• Woods–Woodin signatures

The 1928-C is one of the key/scarcer issues of the 1928-series $1 Silver Certificates, with a substantially smaller production than the much more commonly encountered 1928-A and 1928-B notes. The combination of the scarce series, G-B block, and extremely low five-digit serial number makes this an especially interesting example for Silver Certificate, Funny Back, block and low-serial-number collectors.
