23 Page Collection of Fashion Design Sketches, Drawn by Student Artist Doris Purdum who Graduated from Carnegie Mellon Margaret Morrison Division School for Women in 1928. I\'ve included Doris\' Obituary from Legacy.Com, she passed away at the age of 96 in 2002 (I acquired these from her estate). These sketches are All signed by her, either as Doris Purdum or \"Dorys\". Hand Pencilled critiques on many of the sketches, (she was quite Hard on Herself, IMHO), in fact, the ONLY design she wrote even a remotely positive comment on was the Royal Blue Flapper Dress \"A very pleasing design & color-just a little too much material in waist & drapery should slope up more slowly\". These are Incredible, Zoom in on the photos to read the comments (Unless these are critiqued by her Teacher, I\'m not sure). The hand-writing does appear the same as her signature though. There are also several pages of Figure & Human Form Sketches. These were removed from the original sketch book, one of the pages is hardboard, which I would assume is the cover of the original book (it\'s the one with the white dress and pink paint splotch to it\'s left). Both corners of the hardboard cover are torn.
