Near Fine in a Good dust jacket. A sharp, soundly bound copy; former owner\'s signature to fly leaf and name stamp on title page, but otherwise unmarked. The dust jacket with a chip to the bottom of the front panel; spine lightly faded; small chips along the top edge, including to the Muriel on the front panel; price-clipped. The DJ is now housed in a mylar protector.
The publisher only did a single printing of this edition, making one of the hardest of the New Classics to track down.
Former owner was Frederic T. Closs, an Associate Professor of English at Lafayette College and editor of the Selected Poems of MacKnight Black.
