Up for sale is an authentic antique 1902 Elgin National Watch Co. 18-size open-face pocket watch featuring a desirable 17-jewel G. M. Wheeler movement housed in a sturdy Fahys base metal screw-back case.Details & Condition:Movement: 17-Jewel G. M. Wheeler grade movement with nickel damaskeened finish. Serial number 9914766 dates production to 1902.Working Status: RUNNING. The balance wheel swings freely, and the sub-seconds hand ticks continuously when wound. Timekeeping accuracy over 24 hours has not been tested.  Setting Mechanism: Winding functions normally. The setting sleeve in the case neck is stiff/untested—sold AS-IS for setting adjustment or service.  Dial & Hands: Original white enamel dial with double-sunk style, bold Roman numerals, and blued steel hands. Displays light age patina/hairlines consistent with turn-of-the-century age.  Case: Fahys Foresight base metal screw-back case. Solid structural condition with vintage surface wear and patina.
