This ornament isdistinguished by a broad, rigid crescent-shaped element, designed to encirclethe base of the neck, supporting three large circular discs of decreasing size,connected by short chains. Together, they form an elongated pectoral composition,richly adorned with moving pendants. The crescent features flowers, foliage andscrollwork, framed by finely dotted borders. The three discs are the mostremarkable feature of this ornament. Each has a central raised boss surroundedby a radiating ring and decoration arranged in concentric bands.
