Antique c1860s Voit Doll Antique Nun Outfit Dress & Cape Papier Mache Approx 22\" For Sale

I found this wonderful antique outfit in Europe and it is fantastic! It is an antique nun outfit which includes the black dress and the matching cape. The dress has the earlier style hooks. The two pieces are in excellent condition! The dress has pleats in the front and sleeves that get wider as they go down. This most likely came off a paper mache doll like an Andres Voit/Pauline or similar doll. I am guesstimating it to fit approximately a 22\" doll, but this is a complete guesstimate. Please judge the size for your own dolly from the measurements given as doll sizes do vary. The dress measures 17 inches from the tip of the shoulder to the bottom edge of the dress. The dress measures 5.5 inches from one shoulder seam to the other shoulder seam. Each sleeve measures 7.5 inches long from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve cuff. The neck opening measures 3 inches wide across when laying flat. The sleeve measures 9 inches in circumference around the wrist of the doll. The waist measures 5 and 3/4 inches wide across when laying flat. The waist measures 12 inches in circumference all the way around the waist of the doll. The dress measures 5.5 inches from the tip of the shoulder to the waistline. The dress measures 11.5 inches from the waistline to the bottom edge of the dress. The cape measures 16.5 inches from top to bottom. The cape measures 7 inches in circumference all the way around the neck of the doll.Non-smoking home.
