This book is being sold as an AS-IS restoration / rebinding project.
The entire cover/binding is completely detached from the interior text block. The leather binding has heavy wear, deterioration, rubbing, edge loss, and damage, particularly around the spine and corners.
There are also loose areas, tears/chipping, age-related toning, and general wear throughout. The gilt page edges and decorative gilt artwork on the original binding are still visible.
Because this book contains more than 1,000 pages, I have not individually checked or collated every page, so completeness cannot be guaranteed.
This is not a collector-grade copy in its current condition. It is being offered inexpensively for someone interested in book restoration, rebinding, preservation, display, or an antique book project.
Please examine all photos closely. Sold exactly as pictured and AS-IS.
I would rather see this old book go to someone who wants to restore or preserve it than have it discarded
