Elegant BORG ELECTRIC JEWELED OVAL DASHBOARD CLOCK 1939/40 NASH LAFAYETTE For Sale

This is a vintage and elegant Borg Instruments Dashboard Clock. It is oval with a rich, copper colored face. (It looks more “gold” in the photos than it does in real life.) It is marked “Borg Electric, Jeweled” and “18745”.
It measures approximately 3 1/2” tall x 2 7/8” wide x 3” deep. It is in excellent condition and two dials turn freely and easily.Because of the vintage nature of this clock, and because I was unable to test it, I am selling it \"as is” and as a collectible.
Here’s my research from the internet:

• Based on historical automotive parts catalogs and production records, this clock is a1940 Nash Ambassador / Lafayettedashboard clock.
  
• The Car Application:Nash used this specific oval shape with a copper-colored face exclusively for their1940 model yearlineup. It was mounted centrally on the dashboard speaker grille/radio panel assembly.
• The \"Jeweled\" Distinction:Nash heavily marketed their 1940 models as having premium \"Jeweled\" Borg electric clocks, which featured a higher-quality mechanical movement than standard automotive clocks of the era.
• The \"18745\" Marker:This is the specific housing or assembly part number used by the George W. Borg Corporation during their 1939–1940 production run.
