Allison TCM hardware and software compatibility matrix is complex. You *MAY* receive a different TCM hardware (A41, A52, A59, etc). And It *MAY* be programmed with a different software release. *ALL* TCM software with the same kernel XYZ (4F00XYZ0123 instead of4A00XYZ0045, etc) is COMPATIBLE and that is what you will receive.
IMPORTANT: ThisTCM requiresprogrammingwith correct calibration for your vehicle, which is included in thislisting. The following information is *REQUIRED*:
After purchase (or preferably before) the buyer must send us an message with the following info:
(1) Complete valid 17-digit VIN
*AND*
(2) CIN(like4F00XYZ0123) *OR- ASSY#(likeA5100XYZ)from the original TCM (see image below -- you can also just send a photo of your original TCM with *LEGIBLE* calibration sticker)
and then we will program the TCM and ship it.
PLEASENOTE: Until/unless we receive an message from you with the CIN or ASSY per above, the TCM cannot be programmed TCM and your order will remain unprocessed. To avoid delays in programming and shipping of your TCM please send your VIN *AND* your CIN /ASSY# as soon as possible.
You need onlydisconnect battery, install new TCM, reconnect battery and drive thevehicle -- no programming or other learn procedures will berequired. The TCM auto-learns -- any idle instability or shifting irregularities aretransient artifacts of learn process after TCM replacement and will disappear on their own.

AllTCMs must be returned in same condition as they are received.Anyalteration to the TCM, which includes opening or (re)programming it,voids the warranty. Ifyou damage the case (break the brass rings or snap off the mountingtabs on the connector, etc) the TCM cannot be returned.Thisis our part warranty, not an return policy. Due to buyersabusing the return system, we no longer offer an returnpolicy and do not accept returns for refund. We are not a freetroubleshooting try-a-part loaner service -- you cannot install ourTCM to determine that your problem was something else, and return ithaving used it to figure out that you don\'t need one.
