I am selling the following item:map titled \"Principatus Silesiae Munsterbergensis exactissima Tabula Geographica exhibens... 1736\", map of the Duchy of Münsterberg, published in: \"Atlas Silesiae\", Homann\'s heirs, Nuremberg 1752.
Coloured copperplate, paper, 56 x 82 cm in the light of the binding. Framed: 94 x 68 cm, thickness 1 cm; total weight of map + frame = 4 kg / 9 lb. The map comes from the \"Atlas of Silesia\", created from the 1720s. The author of the maps from this period was Johann Wolfgang Wieland (1673-1739), a military engineer and cartographer. His work was continued after the mid-1730s by Matthäus Schubarth. The \"Atlas\" was published in Nuremberg by Homann\'s heirs.
