Item Description:
This is a Parker 404XR actuator that was kept as a \'spare unit\'and
has been used very little if at all and it is in perfect working condition.
It is a model 404100XRMP with a 100mm rated stroke length,
but the max stroke length is actually about 120mm (4-3/4\").
The ballscrew is precision ground 16mm dia. x 5mm pitch.
This actuator has (3) proximity sensors (Limit / Homing switches)
that are mounted to the side of the actuator in a protective
aluminum housing with a clear plastic top cover & 5-pin connector.
The 404XRMP actuators are extremely accurate (\'P\' = Precision
model), they have a repeatability of 1.3um (1.3 microns = 0.00005\").
It has a nema17 motor mount and comes with a Parker VS12B-DFFLY
dual-shaft stepper motor with 57oz-in of torque. There is a Vexta
D4CL-5.0 Clean Damper mounted to the rear shaft of the stepper motor.
This actuator was tested using a Parker E-AC stepper drive at a resolution
of 5000 steps per rotation which equals 1000 steps per millimeter (1.0um) and
I was able to achieve a speed of 175mm per second with no load (see video).
