The New Botanic Garden : Plate 45. Original copper engraving by the famed Sydenham Edwards who was one of the greatest engravers of his period ( 19th century). This print was hand colored by him and produced in c 1805 in London England, as noted at the base of the image. It depicts : The red flowered Chelone, Autumnal Crocus and Blue Catananche (cupid\'s dart). Exquisite detail and excellent clean condition. Matted in archival matting for protection.
