Original World War II booklet titled “The Destruction of Germany: As Seen on the Trolley Mission – May 1945.” Published by the Public Relations Office of the 44th Bombardment Group (Heavy), Shipdham, Norfolk, England, in May 1945.
This scarce wartime publication was produced for members of the 44th Bombardment Group following VE Day and documents the destruction of Germany through original aerial photographs and narrative text. It includes images of B-24 Liberator bombing missions, bomb damage, rail yards, industrial targets, Cologne Cathedral, and a map of the Trolley Mission routes through Germany and occupied Europe.
